Public Square: Early Childhood Literacy

This week marks KNME’s first in a series of partnerships with the community on the new and exciting project entitled Public Square.

This month, as part of NEW MEXICO IN FOCUS, KNME brings together community members for an impassioned and informed discussion about some of the biggest issues facing our children today. This month the focus is on the importance of early childhood literacy. After intense deliberation to determine needs and identify problems, these participants then team up with a guest panel of policy makers, business leaders and community organizers to work together to seek solutions. NMiF Correspondent Sarah Gustavus moderates this conversation geared toward problem-solving and pro-active results.
