Lt. Governor Diane Denish Fights Back

The new website New Mexico Watchdog added fuel to the gubernatorial campaign fires yesterday, by releasing a report that alleges the Lt. Governor misused hundreds of thousands of unallocated federal dollars back in 2003-2004.  The money was given to the Lt. Governor’s office by Governor Richardson.  Regular panelist on THE LINE, Jim Scarantino, is the one who made the public records request, and sorted through the paperwork.  Among other things, he claims Denish used the money for christmas cards and other frivolous expenses.  Well, yesterday afternoon, we had Lt. Governor Denish in studio, and here was her reaction:
