The presidential debate was engaging, and amusing.
I didn’t realize now many friends John McCain has. John reminded me of a taxi driver in NYC. They always ask, where to friend? How ya doin friend?
But what really disturbed me was the comparison of priorities.
Obama said his priority is getting the troops home and working toward alternative energy.
McCain said he would work for the veterans and terrorists (by keeping the war going).
Considering that we’re all crazy, who would you rather have for president? A person that is crazy about alternative energy or someone who wants to keep the war machine going?
The answer should be quite clear.
It appeared the agenda for the debate was to defame Obama’s character, and still not have a clear agenda for domestic issues.
Obama had to spend time defending his character, and therefore was not able to address the many issues I’m sure he wanted to.
McCain wanted to walk softly and carry a big stick….the man can hardly walk, and I doubt that he can carry anything, much less a big stick.
This is more proof that McCain wants to continue the fight, and risk the deaths of more American youth. McCain wants the youth to understand that he is working for the veterans, and while he wants you in harms, he can patch you up after you’ve sacrificed your body, for his agenda.
I said it once and I’ll say it again, the only terrorists that will assault this country have done it already.
Understand America, if we wanted Bin Laden dead, he would have been captured years ago.
He is a billionaire that has monetary ties with the United States, and Bush and McCain both reagrd him as a reason to keep the war machine going. If he was to be killed, the oil might be taken away from our usage, and then where would we drill?
I say use the land of the rich that have thousands of acres and are not using it. Do not use the land inhabited by minority people. That land abuse is happening far to often.
I believe if the land of the rich was used, then we would certainly secure the funds to keep it environmentally safe.
I believe we should look more to alternative energy….and not because Obama said it, but because I want my children’s grandchildren to have a better environment to live in.
I hope we can someday see our Earth as our source of life, and not a resource.
God Bless Us All!!!
